Rat Dungeon: The Gnawing Warren
The Rat Dungeon is the first Rookgaard expedition dungeon. An old drain beneath Rookgaard opens into a trapped warren where adventurers must break through the inner seal and defeat the Humanoid Rat.
How does it work?
- 1. Enter the drain Use the entrance lever to send the expedition into the Rat Dungeon.
- 2. Survive the traps Watch the floor and wall traps while moving through the sewer path.
- 3. Break the inner seal Pull the skull lever inside the dungeon to open the way forward.
- 4. Defeat the Humanoid Rat The return portal opens only after the Humanoid Rat is defeated.
| Stage | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Difficulty | Entry-level Rookgaard dungeon, intended before Orc Dungeon and Minotaur Dungeon. |
| Cooldown | The entrance lever resets after 2 hours. |
| Final Encounter | Defeat the Humanoid Rat at the end of the warren. |
| Extraction | The exit portal stays open until the dungeon resets. If the reset happens while players are still inside, they are moved back outside. |
The first victory grants 1 Dungeon Point. The dungeon can still be repeated after completion.
